Category AM (moped) – minimum age 16

  • Two-wheeled vehicle with a maximum design speed of 45 km/h (28 mph)
  • three- or four-wheeled vehicle with a maximum design speed over 25 km/h (15.5 mph), up to 50 cc and with a power output not exceeding 4 kW.

Category A1 – minimum age 17

  • motorcycles up to 125 cc, with a power output not exceeding 11 kW
  • tricycles with a power output not exceeding 15 kW.

Category A2 – minimum age 19

  • motorcycles with a power output not exceeding 35 kW.

Category A

  • unrestricted motorcycles with a power output over 35 kW (minimum age 24 under direct access, or 21 under progressive access)
  • tricycles with a power output over 15 kW (minimum age 21).

HONDA-REDMOTO WORLD ENDURO TEAM READY FOR A NEW CHALLENGE

Ready for the new challenge that 2018 will bring, the agreement between Honda-RedMoto owner Egidio Motta and Matteo Boffelli has been signed.

The team will represent Honda Europe in the World Championship and in the Italian Championship, managed by Boffelli with the direct control of Honda-RedMoto and Honda Motor Europe with the collaboration of Tullio Pellegrinelli as Technical Director.

Matteo Boffelli, from San Pellegrino Terme, was born in 1993 into a family keen on Enduro. For four seasons, he managed a team in the World and Italian Championships, winning the E3 Italian title with Thomas Oldrati in 2017. This experience with Honda will be a new challenge.

In addition to the signing of the contract the new riders for the Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team were announced: Davide Guarneri will race in the E1 class with the new CRF250R Enduro, Thomas Oldrati will fight for the E2 title with the CRF450RX Enduro, while the young Emanuele Facchetti will race in the EJ class with the revolutionary CRF250R Enduro.
